Almost all participants of ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 are known
Last night, the first season of the DPC in the North American region. Now only the Chinese region is left, where the matches will go on for another 2 weeks.
We know 14 out of 18 teams that will participate in ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 from March 27 to April 4. Each region had a different number of invitations to the tournament, which, in turn, were intended for different stages.
Wild Card stage participants
At the Wild Card stage, all teams placed in one group will compete with each other according to the Round-Robin system in BO2 matches. The two strongest teams will advance to the next stage.
Group stage participants
At the group stage, all participants will have a similar system. Eight teams will compete in one group by the Round-Robin format in BO2 matches. 1st and 2nd places will advance to the playoffs' Upper Bracket, 3rd to 6th places — to the playoffs' Lower Bracket. The rest will be eliminated from the tournament.
Playoff participants
At the stage of the playoffs, teams will have a standard bracket of the Double-Elimination format. All matches will be BO3, except the grand final, which will be BO5.
ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 will take place from March 27 to April 4 in Singapore and have a LAN-format. The strongest teams from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $500,000 and 2,700 DPC points.
