Fnatic and TNC will play in the DPC first division for the SEA Region
Tournament operator PGL announced the list of participants, as well as the format for the Dota Pro Circuit first season for the SEA Region. The main stage games will run from February 18 to 28, with a $280,000 prize pool for both divisions.

According to PGL, the closed qualifiers will be divided into two stages.
The first stage will be from January 4 to 7. All teams invited to the closed qualifiers will play against each other in a Double-Elimination bracket. The four best will earn a ticket to the first division, while the worst will play in the second stage.
The second stage will be from January 8 to 10. There will already be 12 teams at the second stage: 4 worst ones from the first stage and 8 ones from the open qualifiers. They will be divided into 2 groups, 6 teams in each, where they will play according to a Round-Robin BO2 system. The 5 and 6 places of each group will leave the tournament, while the rest participants will start performing in the Dota Pro Circuit second division for the SEA Region.
