MinD_ContRoL has been criticized for toxic in-game behavior
On Twitter and Reddit, a series of publications appeared addressed to the Nigma team player, ??Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov. They discuss inappropriate player behavior in ranked matches.
A player with the nickname ScyDota recorded a moment where ??MinD_ContRoL, playing on Lifestealer, buys five Fluffy Hats, a pack of wards and puts them on his base.
As noted by ScyDota, it is not the only case, but at least the fourth such game from the Bulgarian Esportsman lately. On social media, players have raised the issue of overseeing the accounts of professional players.
Can professional Dota 2 players lose their account or end up in a low priority queue?
While other games have different mechanisms to punish toxic behavior, in Dota 2, professional players can act freely and without consequences. It is because the Dota 2 reporting system is often used by casual players against professionals. Although Esportsmen do nothing offensive, the players continue to complain about them, a kind of trolling.
Rather than fixing the reporting system and closely monitoring the behavior of Esportsmen, Valve allowed players with verified accounts to do whatever they want with only a few exceptions. On this basis, scandals about toxic behavior regularly arise, ranging from games' losing to racist statements in the chat.
