Southeast Asian and North American qualifiers schedule revealed
Tomorrow, June 30, the qualifiers for The International in Southeast Asia and North America start. And now Valve has presented the schedules for both regions.
Each of them will have a tournament that features all participants of the second season of DPC Regional Leagues who didn't get direct invites to The International 10. They will play according to a Double-Elimination bracket, and seedings were based on the entire DPC season. The top 8 teams start to play from the Upper bracket, and the rest — from the Lower one. If there are fewer than 16 participants, the team from the Lower bracket with the higher seeding technically wins. Qualifiers' winner of each region makes it for The International 10.
Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia will feature 15 teams out of 16. After two DPC seasons, only the T1 has secured a direct invite to The International 10. Due to its absence, Lilgan will start from the second round of the Lower bracket.
