Dyrachyo Announces Break From Competitive Dota 2
Despite joining Tundra Esports only two months ago and cementing the team has arguably the best in the world, dyrachyo has made a surprising announcement revealing he is looking to take a break from professional Dota 2.
He released a statement on his Telegram channel (translated):
“Guys, seriously, I decided to take a break in my professional career, because professional dota doesn't bring me any pleasure. I don't feel any excitement playing dota. It's like this every tournament after tournament. And that's why I decided that it's better to take a break until I get the desire. And during this break I plan to travel, stream, enjoy life and record some content for you. So stay tuned, stay in touch and thanks for the comments.”
According to the 23-year-old, he has lost passion for the game and is likely tired due to burnout. Tundra Esports played in four tournaments with non-stop breaks, as they made it to the Grand Final of every single event, meaning they were playing the maximum number of matches every time.
As rumors have surfaced, the likely replacement for dyrachyo is former PARIVISION carry Crystallis. If this move were to happen, the new Tundra Esports roster would look like this:
Just a few days ago, Tundra Esports failed to secure their third title in 2025 after losing the PGL Wallachia Season 3 Grand Final against Team Liquid.
