Team Secret, Virtus.Pro, and NAVI Jr Lock In TI15 Closed Qualifier Slots
After two sets of Open Qualifiers, the ten teams that will compete in the Western European Closed Qualifiers for The International 2025 have been decided. Six teams that made if out of the qualifiers will join the four invited teams.
Teams that qualified from the first Open Qualifier:
The promising squad of NAVI Junior made it through the first round of qualifiers, taking down Virtus.pro to reach the final. However, the 1win Team took top seed after defeating NAVI Junior in the seeding match.
Teams that qualified from the second Open Qualifier:
Gorgc and Team Bald Reborn participated in the second round of the Open Qualifiers, but were eliminated by Zero Tenacity. The latter was also sent out of the event by Yellow Submarine in the third-place decider match. Meanwhile, Puppey and Team Secret took the top seed after pulling off a comeback against Virtus.pro in the seeding match.
They will join Nigma Galaxy, MOUZ, OG, and AVULUS in a double-elimination bracket.
The Closed Qualifiers for WEU will run from June 13 to 17. Only two out of the ten teams will punch tickets to The International 2025.
