Tundra Esports emerged victorious in Copenhagen, as they defeated the Gaimin Gladiators in the Grand Final of Blast Slam II in a convincing 3 - 0 sweep. This win means the Tundra squad has collected two S-Tier trophies in the span of two weeks. The series was not close at all. The boys in blue outclassed the Gladiators on all fronts.
In the first map, the Gladiators went from their trust Marci + Io combination. Though watson and Seleri were off to a great start, the other lanes went poorly and Tundra could sweep the map with ease.
Gaimin Gladiators had a better start to the second game, as the map was dead even coming into the mid-game. However, Tundra eventually outfarmed their opponents and sealed the game.
The decisive map was the biggest beating of the series. With both supports playing extremely active, Tundra went on a tear and stomped the map with ease. The final kill score was 37 - 7, ending the series in a clean sweep.
Tundra Esports take home $400,000 in prize money, while the Gladiators are compensated with $200,000 for their efforts. Blast Slam II was a LAN event that took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. 10 teams fought for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
